How It Works
From empty list to learned routine.
-
Build the List
Type an item and Zupply matches it to its grocery catalog. Tap to add it, or pick a category for something custom.
-
Shop With Store Mode
Walk in and Zupply detects the store and puts what it carries first. Check items off as you go. About 30 minutes in, it reminds you to scan your receipt.
-
Scan the Receipt

-
Watch the Pantry Grow
Items you confirm from a receipt are added to your pantry when Zupply recognizes them. The health bar shows what is fresh, aging or stale, timed to how often you buy each item.
-
Let the Insights Find You
Spending insights come with every plan. Premium adds price check and restock reminders. Gold adds weekly list suggestions.

What's new
The latest releases in the stores.
Version 1.8.0
- Price check on Insights: search an item to see what it costs at each store you shop, with your last price and your average. Premium.
- The item sheet in History shows what you paid at each store, with a Compare stores link to the full price check. Premium.
- Permission prompts always show their Not now and Continue buttons without scrolling, and the rate this app prompt waits until another open sheet closes.
Version 1.7.6
- Receipts from Adnan Halal, Royal Bazaar and Maharajah Indian Grocery now read their prices correctly, including receipts that print prices in a separate column.
- Correcting a price or quantity on the receipt review card now shows on the card and in its total, and you can undo an edit to a line on a saved receipt.
- An item's price history is cleaner: it keeps the twelve most recent months, the month labels line up with the chart, and an old receipt no longer counts an item twice.
Version 1.7.4
- Zupply opens on iOS 27. Before, the app closed the moment it opened on iOS 27.
- A behind-the-scenes fix guards sign-in, device pairing, account recovery and session refresh against a failure that never reached anyone. You will not see a change.

Common Questions
What makes Zupply different from other grocery apps?
Zupply is a grocery list that learns from your shopping. Scan a receipt and it reads every line with its price and discounts. The list notices which store you are in and puts what that store carries first. The pantry tracks how often you buy each item, and Insights show where your money goes.
How does Store Mode work?
Open Zupply at or near a store and it works out which store you are in. It checks when you open the app and when you come back to the list, never in the background. What that store carries moves to the top of your list. Store Mode ends after 30 minutes without activity, and about 30 minutes after you arrive Zupply reminds you to scan your receipt, unless you already have.
How does receipt scanning work?
Scan a paper receipt with the camera, pick a photo from your gallery, or open a PDF. Zupply reads each line with its price, quantity and discounts, works out which store it came from, and offers matches to the items on your list. You check the matches before anything is saved. If a receipt looks like one you already scanned, Zupply warns you first.
What if a scan goes wrong or matching is off?
Correct a price or quantity on the review card before you save. After saving, you can fix the name, price or quantity of a line, or remove it, and undo an edit. If you discard a scan, nothing is saved and no scan is used. A scan is only used up when a receipt is read and saved successfully.
How do receipt scans work on each plan?
Free includes 5 receipt scans a month plus 10 to start. Premium and Gold scan without limits. If you run out on Free, add-on packs add scans that never expire.
How does the pantry work?
Mark each item plenty, some, low or out. A health bar shows what is fresh, aging or stale, timed to how often you buy each item. Tap the stale part of the bar to clean up: keep what you still have, remove what you have finished, and add items to your shopping list if you like. Items you confirm from a receipt are added to the pantry when Zupply recognizes them.
Can I import recipes?
Yes. Paste a recipe link or a YouTube link and Zupply shows which ingredients you have in the pantry and which you still need. Recipes anyone in your household saves are there for everyone in it, next to the built-in recipes.
Can Zupply remember the exact product I buy?
Yes. Save the exact product you buy, with a photo, a link and notes. The next time you add that item, Zupply offers your saved product, or you can add the plain item instead.
Is my shopping data private?
There are no ads inside Zupply, and we do not sell your data. Your list, pantry and receipts are shared with the household you invite. Receipts are read by Google's cloud services to pull out the lines, the iPhone app measures our own TikTok ad campaigns with the TikTok Business SDK (TikTok receives your advertising identifier only if you allow tracking when Zupply asks), and location is only collected when you use Store Mode, never in the background. The privacy policy has the details, and Gold members can export their receipts as a CSV file.
Can I share with family?
Yes, on every plan. Share your list with family or roommates, and your pantry, receipts and activity are shared across the household too. Activity shows who went shopping, added items or scanned a receipt.
Does it have light and dark mode?
Yes. Zupply follows your phone's light or dark setting, and you can choose light or dark yourself with the theme control in your profile.
We build apps for businesses too.
